Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson has been excluded from Friday's White House crypto summit, despite ADA being included in President Donald Trump's crypto reserve.

“They are running around town trying to push their own sort of narrative. They are not involved in anything about trying to influence policy and they are not invited to Friday’s summit,” a White House source said.

The revelation comes days after President Trump announced that his proposed crypto reserve will include ADA. "My Executive Order on Digital Assets directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA. I will make sure the U.S. is the Crypto Capital of the World," Trump posted on Truth Social earlier this week.

Prior to the US elections, Hoskinson had strongly backed the Republicans over Kamala Harris, telling Blockhead that a Trump presidency could lead Bitcoin to $250,000.

"If you like crypto, vote for Trump and if you want crypto go to zero, vote for Harris," Hoskinson said at the time.

Hoskinson also defended Trump's decision to include XRP in the reserve, stating on X, "Because XRP is great technology, a global standard, survived for a decade through many harsh cycles, and has one of the strongest communities. I think the president made the right decision."
