SFF 2023 Returns With Fewer Crypto Booths But More Crypto Chat

Singapore Fintech Festival 2023 saw a record number of attendees and whilst there were fewer crypto booths, Web3 chat was ubiquitous

And just like that, Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) has come and gone. Once again gracing the Singapore Expo, expanding through all six of its never-ending halls, SFF returned to Singapore to bring together the brightest minds in finance, policy, and tech.

Attracting 66,000 participants through its doors, SFF experienced a record footfall, up from last year's 62,000. Attendees represented 150 countries and regions, whilst the line-up boasted 970 speakers.

This year, SFF had a specific focus on "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Services," largely in line with everyone's favourite buzzword: AI.

As much as we love AI here at Blockhead (relax, we don't use ChatGPT for content), we feared SFF's focus on the glamorous tech would steal the thunder of Web3. Just like our market predictions, we were both wrong and right on this one.
