If 2023 was the year for the blockchain adoption, 1 Utama shopping centre has tossed its hat into the arena with its own NFT-for-charity collection on the Ethereum blockchain.

The 12th-largest shopping mall in the world has announced on its Twitter its support for crypto natives to "broaden their NFT collection" with a digital ONECARD NFT.

The NFT collection with three ONECARD designs, currently sits at a supply of 60 with a floor price of 0.0075 Eth ($12.50) per NFT. The tradeable NFT however, has no tangible utility other than its digital display and listing, making this collection just a digital PFP.

The campaign also promises that all proceeds of the sales for the "one-of-a-kind work of art" will be donated to charity, "making it a win-win for everyone" . However, the term "charity" remains vague as no charity partner were mentioned in its Twitter post, its website or inside its Terms and Conditions document.

The One Card website

Also it's worth noting that ONECARD NFT does not give users a physical card or access to its the shopping mall's membership program. The ONECARD is the shopping mall's membership program where customers are able to collect discounts and cashback rebates in the form of points within its outlets.

The collection will available for sale until 30 March 2023 on secondary marketplace Opensea.
