Will Bitcoin Become "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System?"

In 2008, Statoshi Nakamoto conceived of and implemented the first version of Bitcoin, wrote its white paper, and released it to the public.

Nakamoto implemented the concept and created the first blockchain ledger as part of the process. Up until the end of 2010, Nakamoto was a driving force behind bitcoin's development.

In its 15 years in the market, the first cryptocurrency has been many things to many people, including a hedge against inflation and a source of speculation.

The tides are turning for bitcoin, which is still the coin people generally reference when they talk about digital currencies, and it appears that it will soon be used for what it was designed for: making payments.
